A setback for Christian-Hindu relations

Today is Saturday and as such I didn’t feel a need to look as fabulous as I normally do (cough) at breakfast. Especially since I was planning on heading to the pool. So I tossed on my jeans and the one T-shirt I brought with me.

Well, we were seated next to this quite well dressed couple from India. Based on the clothing, I’d say Hindu. The woman did several double take’s at my shirt and I could see her peeking at it when she thought I wasn’t watching. Naturally, I became self conscious and looked down, thinking I’d dropped some Kaya there when it dawned on me what the problem could be.

Hrmm. Maybe not such a wise choice for my current destination….
